By accessing or using Gully News (the website or mobile apps), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for optional data collection or device permissions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Use of the Services

You may use Gully News only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the services, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated means (bots, scrapers) without our permission.

4. User Content and Feedback

If you submit comments, feedback, or other content, you grant Gully News a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with providing and improving the services. You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit.

All service content, features, and functionality (text, graphics, logos, software) are owned by Gully News or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. 7. App Stores and Push Notifications

If you download our apps from Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms and policies also apply. If you enable push notifications, you may receive service or content updates; you can disable them in your device settings at any time.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Submitting hate speech, threats, sexually exploitative material, or content promoting violence or illegal activity.
• Publishing private personal information without authorization or a lawful basis.
• Presenting fabricated stories, deceptively altered media, impersonation, or undisclosed paid promotions as independent factual reporting.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gully News and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or reputation arising from your use of the services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gully News, its affiliates, and personnel from claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the services or violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the services, or if required by law. You may stop using the services at any time. Certain provisions (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts located in Telangana, India will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted with an updated revision date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. News, Sources, and Editorial Standards

Gully News provides news, articles, and video coverage for readers. Contributors must identify the original author or publisher of submitted reporting, distinguish original work from third-party material, and provide supporting sources for factual claims. Attribution alone does not grant permission to reproduce another publisher's work.

Our editorial standards require verification of factual claims, clear attribution, and a distinction between factual reporting, opinion, satire, and advertising. Opinion and satire must not be presented as verified news. Materially altered or synthetic media must not mislead readers about real people or events. Developing reports may change as further information becomes available.

Advertising and sponsored material must be clearly identified and distinguishable from editorial coverage. Commercial relationships must not be disguised as independent reporting.

17. Corrections, Content Reports, and Copyright Complaints

To request a correction or report objectionable content, email info@gullynews.com. Include the article or video link or title, the issue, and relevant supporting information. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

For a copyright complaint, identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to contact you. We may correct, label, restrict, or remove content and suspend contributors who violate these Terms. The disclaimer in section 9 does not excuse deliberately misleading reporting or remove rights you have under applicable law.

18. Account and Data Deletion

See our Delete Account page for account and associated personal-data deletion requests. Uninstalling the app does not itself delete your account. Any retention of personal information is subject to the purposes and safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.
