Reuters నివేదిక ప్రకారం, Microsoft తొలిసారిగా Azure cloud unit salesను ప్రత్యేకంగా వెల్లడించింది. తాజా quarterలో Azure revenue సుమారు $29.4 billionగా నమోదైంది. Fiscal yearలో Azure sales సుమారు $101.9 billionగా reported అయ్యాయి. 

Cloud computing ఇప్పుడు businessesకు అత్యంత ముఖ్యమైన infrastructureగా మారింది.

AI boomతో cloud demand మరింత పెరుగుతోంది.

AI applicationsను run చేయడానికి computing resources అవసరం కావడంతో Microsoft, Amazon మరియు Google వంటి companies మధ్య cloud competition కూడా తీవ్రంగా ఉంది.

Microsoft తన business reporting structureలో కూడా మార్పులు చేస్తూ AI మరియు cloud servicesకు పెరుగుతున్న ప్రాధాన్యతను ప్రతిబింబిస్తోంది.
